These industries, in addition to medical and dental practices, have hired us this year, for an entirely new style of photography and video capture.

Companies are updating their websites to share so much more than standard headshots of their staff. They want to share their brand and the vibe of their business and team – their company culture. Mission and values are more important to potential clients than ever!  Photos and videos are the most effective way to communicate your company’s story.

In the last 3 years, the “office” has changed. The physical design is more open and tends to include more collaborative working space. Dress codes have relaxed, and the overall energy, diversity, and personality of many companies have been transformed.  Clients are looking to showcase this collaborative spirit and headshots have become more environmental and contextual – at times appearing even candid in nature!

Companies want to show their employees at work but also at play – a reflection of the new work-life balance that has emerged. Thus, our corporate photography has become more documentary – a reflection of the times and the new normal at their office and how their team meets and works together.

We are being asked to capture not just standard group shots of teams, but rather teams in discussion around the office in conference rooms, breakout areas, and even the company kitchens!  Morale and team unity are valued by C-level execs more than ever before – and they want their website and social media platforms to represent this. The new buzzwords are diversity, collaboration, and office culture.

Now, when we shoot “office photos” they are both indoors in office spaces and outdoors on terraces and rooftops showing the city skyline. We even capture office pets!

This new trend and style of capture is warm and inviting and we are thrilled to capture the new energy that has imbued large corporations and small businesses alike.
