It has been an honor for Sarah to have Central Synagogue’s head rabbi,  Rabbi Angela W. Buchdahl, as a client and a friend for more than 10 years! We photographed Angela’s oldest son Gabriel’s Bar Mitzvah and now it’s #2:  Eli!

Eli became a Bar Mitzvah, reading from the Torah and Haftorah in front of family and friends, at the family’s Temple, Central Synagogue. Eli and his family celebrated all weekend long starting with a Friday evening dinner at Nerai New York followed by a Kiddush (with lots of fun games for the kids) following services catered by Simply Divine, and finishing up with a simple, yet special gathering at Sidecar at P.J. Clarke’s Saturday evening.   How great to have your very own mom play guitar and sing at the Havdalah part of the dinner to close out the Sabbath on Saturday night?!
